I'm so jealous of Laura's bed problems I can't even remember what I have to say. Oh, yeah. I developed back pain a few years ago and Honey and I decided it must be the mattress. It turned out to be a faulty uterus, but before we figured that out, we bought and returned FOUR mattress sets. Firm, pillow-topped, memory foam, concrete-filled. I'm flip around a lot and the pillowtop and memfoam beds were like trying to roll over in thick mud. Finally, we got the uterus fixed, bought the expanded-queen Sleep Number bed and we're both sleeping soundly. Most days I can even stand up straight. We love the bed and have had no problems with it. Definitely worth the $. Good luck!
